Purple patch continues in June

Team IISc played three matches this June and continued its purple patch winning the last two while the first one was washed away with the match still hanging in the balance.

13th June, 2010, IISc Gymkhana Ground, Bangalore: Though the weather gods didn't allow the match to come to fruition, it will still be remembered as the farewell match of former skipper, Sandeep Pathak, who served IISc cricket remarkably well for a long time. To make the day special, Sandeep turned in a parsimonious spell with figures of 7-0-22-0. Ashith picked up four wickets to help IISc bowl out Young Lions for 166 in 38 overs. IISc were 45/4 in 10 overs with Arindam and Sounik at the crease when the skies opened up preventing any further play.
